How to play

It's real chess. Protect your king! Checkmate the other king to win the level.
Touch one of your pieces and its squares glow. Flick it toward a glowing square, drag it there, or tap the square.
Pieces jump over the river or lava in the middle of the board.
Made a mistake? The helper can take it back, 3 times per game.
Power-ups, once per game: 🛡️ Shield (they can't capture for 3 turns), ⚡ two moves in a row, 🔄 swap two of your pieces.
Land on 🪙 gold coins to grab them, and win levels for more gold. Gold works in every Wide Image game: reach 1,000,000 for a real 3D printed character!
Easy shows you the way when you're stuck. In Medium and Hard, a clock appears if you wait too long.
